Challenge

Independent brick-and-mortar grocery stores needed a way to strengthen their presence against big e-commerce power retailers, like Walmart and Amazon. By entering their communities, they are taking away their loyal customers and business, leaving them defenseless and uncertain for their future.

Solutions

Freshop developed an eCommerce platform for grocers and specialty retailers. We designed a fulfillment and customer app to empower brick and mortar stores to compete in today's digital marketplace while giving their customers the experience and customization they expect in-store and online every day.

The grocery app strategy was to provide a fluent user experience from their current online store through the app. By extending the grocers brand presence via the app—shoppers can effortlessly access their user accounts, manage and add items to their lists, and checkout with ease.
