Challenge

Being in the telecommunications game for over 85 years, Frontier has seen it all. From the overplayed marketing and underwhelming services throughout the decades, Frontier recognizes how mistrust has developed in consumers. They want to put a stop to misinformation and let consumers know there is a better, faster, and reliable network and its Frontier Enterprise. Frontier Enterprise approached us to help pivot the brand in a new direction with a new design system and overhaul their digital experience to elevate and strengthen their connection to their customers and improve conversions and click-through rates.

Solution

We began defining an underlying brand concept: “Do different. Together. ” More than just a cheeky tagline, this was a true reflection of the authentic spirit of Frontier. Focusing on the idea that clear communication changes everything for the better, we activated a strategy in developing a stripped-down digital experience that was relatable, human-focused, and removed all that confusing technical jargon. 

Through the creation of our new design system, content strategy, and technology framework, we completely transformed the brand digitally. We provided new utilities and experiences within the site framework to improve the customer journey, generated digital content, humanized the language, and gave customers a reason to engage with the brand more frequently and on a deeper level than before.

DIGITAL GUIDELINES

Flexible module library and web style guidelines.

By creating a new design system, we developed a multipurpose module library with a supporting web style guide and visual assets to help the Frontier team establish a consistent experience.

Including an extensive set of “Frontier icons” and template modules with built-in functions and stylings, our library and guidelines not only have taught the Frontier team how to maintain brand standards but also enabled them to execute seamlessly across their entire system.

 
 

USER EXPERIENCE

A brand site that sells through a human approach and education.

The experience goes beyond a product and brand site and acts as an industry expert and educational resource tool. We developed a strategy tailored to meet various use cases and ensured that the brand’s positioning would be reflected throughout the conversion funnel.
